I think i am dating a sociopath
Statistics vary — some say 1 percent of the population is sociopathic and others say 4 percent. You pull them up on their unreliability, and they swear they’ll change. They do things at the expense of others While they’re into you – when you’re first dating – you may not personally be harmed by them. They seem not to care if they’ve upset others, or they laugh at other’s misfortunes. So if you’re single and dating, you’re likely to come across one … Here are some key signs to watch for: They’re full of excuses. They accuse you of being paranoid When you’ve caught them out in one too many lies, they’ll turn the tables. Sociopaths are incredibly cunning at making you appear to be in the wrong.Personally, I’ve never had two relationships that were the same. You kind of read, predict, then act/react, and that’s to what makes both of you happy. And he could win an Olympic medal for lying without batting an eyelash.Sociopaths lie and cheat as easily as you and I breathe. They don’t feel bad after an argument; they don’t “do” remorse. Their focus is very good, and if they want you, they’re totally focused on you. Wait until they’re bored with you — their attitude will change very quickly. They swear how ‘bad’ that person is, how useless they are and why they‘re to blame.
I speak more clinically in conversation anyway, so when she responded in kind it was hard to tell the difference — whether she was responding the same way I’m talking, or whether it was part of her nature.
I tend to study people a lot and read people a lot — actions, responses, stuff like that.
There was something a touch different about her, but when you go into a relationship you always have the wide eyes, and you try to take as much as you can in, but at the same time everything’s kind of a blur.
There’s really no difference here because of a diagnosis.
She’s just a little harder to read, or be read by, than most people.Hollywood has worked really hard on building the perfect bad guy, and that’s a psychopath. Is it fair to say that you talked about it together? I can tell you what my attitude was, but I can’t really dive into that, because it was related to something else initially.
